Melissa’s Second Chances is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue in Shawnee, KS. We find homes and safe refuge for animals in need of a second chance to be a beloved family pet.

St. Michael’s Veteran’s Center (SMVC) empowers veterans toward healthy reintegration with their families and communities through permanent housing and supportive services.

As the only domestic violence shelter in Johnson County, and the largest in the state of Kansas, Safehome strives to break the cycle of domestic violence and partner abuse for victims and their children in our community.

Children’s Mercy is a leading independent children’s health organization dedicated to holistic care, translational research, breakthrough innovation, and educating the next generation of caregivers.

A working farm where children, youth and young adults with developmental disabilities could live, work, play and grow.

Eden Village of Kansas City will be a planned, gated tiny home community supported by a community center and local volunteer specialists, giving their time in helping residents, who have been classified as chronically homeless, a dignified place to call home, safely off the streets. We are currently working on completing fundraising for our first project to build many communities to get homeless persons off the streets and into a home where they can thrive.

Many brave troops return home with scars that make it difficult to transition back to civilian life. At the same time, millions of wonderful companion animals wait in shelters for a forever home. Pets for Vets is the bridge that brings them together.

Folds of Honor has grown from a vision into a movement. This folded flag is a constant reminder of those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. It inspires us to help equip and educate their loved ones in need of our support.

The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. No child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family’s ability to pay.
